Agent Studio — What We've Built
Our Agent Studio platform currently has 6 agents, each solving a different part of the bank's growth and engagement stack:

1. Data Analytics Agent
Ask questions about your data and get interactive charts, tables, and insights
Business users type natural-language questions and the agent queries the database, generates interactive charts, and surfaces insights automatically — no SQL or BI tool skills needed. The key feature: creates self-refreshing dynamic dashboards that stay up to date, not just one-off answers.
2. Cohort Discovery Agent
Build interactive cohort filters with real-time exploration and trend analysis
Lets bank teams discover and refine customer segments using interactive filters (card type, credit limit, spend behavior). The agent surfaces distribution insights, identifies power users, and enables one-click "Smart Tag" creation to push cohorts into campaigns. Example: finding 13,676 Swiggy partnership candidates with a 91.9% match rate.
3. Next Best Action Agent
Recommend the optimal next action for each customer based on behavior and context
For each customer, the agent ranks the best product offerings (card upgrades, spend boosters, savings accounts, personal loans) with AI reasoning that explains why. Shows a mobile preview of how the recommendation would appear to the customer, with accept/reject tracking across runs. Covers 11+ offerings across AU's product suite.
4. Campaign Optimisation Agent
Optimise campaign timing using customer behavior and holiday patterns
Teams upload their existing campaign plan and the agent optimises it using customer behavior patterns, seasonal/holiday trends, and audience overlap analysis. Suggests timing adjustments, staggering, and new nudges to maximise engagement. Building campaigns from scratch is the next step.
5. Conversion Booster
Boost conversions via targeted and personalised communications
This is how MoEngage should actually have been working for a bank — tap into the data, use AI to understand cohorts deeply, and automatically design campaigns. Given a conversion goal (e.g., "Increase EMI conversions"), the agent builds a full engagement strategy: segments the addressable base into behavioral buckets (capacity-constrained, unaware, dormant), creates a multi-step drip plan, and provides view-eligible SQL for each segment. Example: targeting 16,036 addressable customers across 4 buckets.
6. Journey Studio
Describe a journey in English — the system builds it, optimises it with real data, and personalises it
Bank teams describe a journey in plain English (e.g., "Create a revolving gold loan journey") and the agent queries actual customer data to understand user behavior and segments, then generates a complete multi-step workflow optimised for maximum conversion and personalisation. Includes live mobile preview, journey flowchart, and supports Direct, In-App, and Standalone channels. Not a simple app builder — it's data-aware and outcome-driven.
AI Agents — Bank Momentum
Currently have active momentum on 3 fronts:
Yes Bank — Cohort Agent Strong Motion
- Business team on board — Anil's blessing secured
- IT blessing also in place; their AI team will give us the path forward
- Very strong motion overall
AU Bank — Data Analytics Agent Needs Push
- CIO is keen but needs constant cajoling / follow-ups
- Requires consistent push to keep things moving
Indus Bank — Overall Interest Paused
- Interested overall, but wants us to drive outcomes using our agents — not just provide tools
- Prasant wants us to take ownership of moving "last 30 days spends" metric up — this unlocks every other metric for him
- Currently struggling with degrowth; Prasant has neither personal bandwidth nor a team that can use our agents directly
- We've taken a pause with them until we can commit to outcome ownership
AI Agents — GTM
Sales Motion In Progress
- Need to build a structured sales motion with Shresth and team
- Based on recent roadshow, signals are strong — we can close deals if we keep talking to the ecosystem
- Play on our infra-related strengths — we already have on-prem deployments, bank trust, and live integrations
Pricing & Positioning Figuring Out
- Keep talking to CxOs to build POV and arrive at pricing over time
- For now, figure pricing on the go — don't let it block deals
Channel Partnerships Active
- Partnering with Azure and AWS to co-sell
- Leverage their bank relationships and marketplace presence
Core Platform — Themes
Amogh — Conversion Booster → Core Nudge Platform Integration
- Integrating the Conversion Booster agent into the core nudge platform
- High confidence this can become the MoEngage killer for banks — validated by roadshow feedback and understanding of how banks currently use such platforms
Shristi — AI-Native Engagement System
- Extending Conversion Booster agent to also create incentives (offers) on the fly based on broad inputs from bank (business goal + budget)
- With this, we'll have a fully AI-native system to drive non-CVP based engagements — end to end
- Also picking up core platform updates needed for TMB: event-based benefit triggers, etc.
Rishab — OMS Scale & Ops Readiness (2 tracks)
Track 1: OMS scale-readiness for bank implementation
- Ability to edit benefits post-creation
- Ability to copy/paste benefit configs between environments
- Building support for debit card transactions (needed for TMB, not a large activity)
- Building OPS dashboard to diagnose what happened with a transaction from bank side — Seth had started but didn't complete
Track 2: Setup playbooks
- Publishing clear playbooks for setup based on experiences with Cheq etc. — so future bank rollouts are repeatable and smooth
Also: Data integration for UBI and TMB
- Shristi is now managing Rishab deeply across these tracks
Bank-wide Loyalty — Tier Management & TRV Engine Needs Brainstorm
- Build for bank-wide loyalty via tier management and TRV engine
- These need to be first-class modules in the platform
- Need to brainstorm on how & when to build these out
Simulator — Deep Improvement
- Improve our simulator deeply — make it robust and comprehensive
- Make it possible to run on bank environments (on-prem compatible)
Nishant — Yes Bank × Razorpay Corporate Card + AU
- Owning the Yes Bank <> Razorpay corporate card project end to end
- Also owning the headless SDK for CRED <> Axis — similar to what we built for CRED <> Indus
- In addition to his ongoing AU Bank responsibilities
Kushal — AU Bank Ledger Support
- Fronting day-to-day support with AU on ledger
⭐ Points of Brainstorm
1. AI Agent GTM for Ready-to-Use Modules
- Need to repeat the Yes Bank story with other banks
- Package agents as ready-to-deploy modules with a repeatable sales motion
2. Cohesive Story for Bank-Level Loyalty
- Build a cohesive narrative thinking backwards from sales
- What does bank-wide loyalty look like end to end? Tier management, TRV, rewards — how does it all tie together as a sellable story?
3. Effective Upsell to Current Banks
- How to systematically upsell to banks we're already live with
- Need a playbook — not ad hoc conversations
Delivery Updates
AU Bank Dev Complete
- All development for Paytm and Cheq integrations is completed
- Cheq setup had issues from both our end and the bank's end — required multiple late nights to resolve
- Rishab has now created a playbook so that the Paytm rollout is ultra smooth and repeatable
Yes Bank On Track
- Shristi completed all setup on prod in advance
- On track to complete final testing by Monday (2 Jun) latest
- On track for app rollout next month
NCB Bank QA In Progress
- All deliverables dev completed
- Handover done — bank's QA is in progress
- Bank has started talking about next features (e.g., cashback) — blocked by me since there's no clarity on commercials so far via Shubham; yet to hear back
TMB Bank MoM Published
